Northern Ballet | Mixed Programme 2014
Northern Ballet return to the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre with a Mixed Programme for 2014, headlined by a new work from British Dance Maker and Northern Ballet Premier Dancer Kenneth Tindall and the return of Hans van Manen's Concertante.
Kenneth Tindall’s star is on the rise. His choreographic debut Project#1, which won the Bundesjungendballett Production Prize at the 26th Choreography Competition in Hanover, and his follow up Luminous Juncture have made him one to watch in the dance world. His hotly anticipated third piece is not to be missed.

Northern Ballet dancers stunned when they performed Dutch dance master Hans Van Manen's Concertante as part of their 2013 Mixed Programme. Now this sensational piece, inspired by and set to Frank Martin's Petite Symphonie, Concertante returns by popular demand.

“the dancers of Northern Ballet understand his (van Manen’s) work better than any other British company”
The final piece of this unmissable Mixed Programme will be a work by Lar Lubovitch, one of the US’s foremost dance makers who is currently celebrating the 45th Anniversary Season of his Company. Over his career, he has created more than 100 dance pieces and we look forward to bringing one of his greatest to our Leeds audiences.
