An Evening With David King

David King, is an internationally acclaimed theatre producer. He is a Leeds success story, but it hasn't always been that way.

David left Leeds for London in 1994, with no more than £100 to his name. Two years later, he came up with the idea to make an Irish dance show - "Spirit of the Dance". With no money, not much hope, and very little prospects, he did the impossible, and created what was to become one of the world's biggest dance shows.

Now it is David's turn to take the stage. In this special evening, David will be interviewed by Radio Leeds’ Liz Green. Hear how David turned failure into success, working with major stars such as Sir Elton John, Lionel Richie, Liza Minnelli, Debbie Reynolds and how he almost lost his life while filming the TV programme "Secret Millionaire"!
