Tenacity – Phoenix at Home
Phoenix Dance Theatre presents Tenacity, a specially curated programme that commemorates 50 years of the Civil Rights Act; a landmark piece of American legislation that allowed voices to be heard and actions to have meaning and which became a catalyst for change in many parts of the world.
Featuring a selection of signature pieces from Phoenix’s historic repertoire including The Audacious One by Warren Adams and 1976, Alesandra Seutin’s narrative of the Soweto Uprising, this moving programme will reflect the company’s engagement with its heritage and pay homage to the development of Civil Rights across the world.
Running time: Approximately 1 hour
