The Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre is located in Leeds on Quarry Hill, next to BBC Yorkshire, West Yorkshire Playhouse and Leeds College of Music. The theatre is inside the stunning home of Northern Ballet and Phoenix Dance Theatre. We offer an exciting programme of dance, theatre and family friendly shows.

In autumn 2014 a thrilling new season of dance comes to the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre. Phoenix Dance Theatre open the season with Tenacity – Phoenix at Home (24 – 27 September), a new mixed programme celebrating 50 years of the Civil Rights Act. As seen on Sky1’s Got To Dance, The Urban Playground Team bring an exhilarating mix of urban dance and French Parkour in Run This Town (02 October). Ballet Black return with a dazzling Mixed Programme featuring Olivier Award nominated A Dream Within A Midsummer Night’s Dream (06 – 07 November).

For your little ones don’t miss Northern Ballet’s latest ballet for children Elves & the Shoemaker (27 October – 01 November).

Also, as we’re in a fantastic building, we have great facilities to make your visit that bit more enjoyable. We have a café bar where you can grab a drink or really make a night of it with a pre-theatre meal.

Hopefully you'll be able to find all the information you need on our website, but if we've missed something, or you have any other questions, just contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.

We have signed up to the Family Arts Standards. We welcome families and to help you enjoy your experience we are committed to ensuring that we meet these Standards.
